Running from this helicopter Looking for a way out of the cold Always trying to stay hidden I just want to mix into the fold Shelter off on the horizon I’ve gotta find myself some way inside If only I could walk among them Man is the warmest place to hide Covered up in human skin If they knew the things that I could do They all could be just like me If they saw things from my point of view But fear will overcome them Their hatred would burn me alive So I must remain concealed Man is the warmest place to hide If I could live among the humans To myself I could be true But until they can accept me One by one I will subdue Welcomed by the unsuspecting Their attention elsewhere occupied Off alone with the distracted Man is the warmest place to hide

New Revision 04:29
Deify the television Echo back the lies We embrace the New Revision Seal our own demise Usher in the new regime Celebrate the cause Marching on, a Force Machine Crush us in its jaws Come join the New Revision! Get on the side that’s Right! Crush all the opposition! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! This is the New Revision! Come on and see the light! Find strength within division! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! We decide what is the best There’s no room for dissent Subjugate all the oppressed While sowing discontent Halt freedom with despair We’ll pave a path of fear Only fools could declare “It just can’t happen here”

Player Won 03:48
Your open world adventure Lays out every path before you But the number up in the corner Is the only thing you think is true Player Won! You know that life is just a game Player Won! And now it’s time to stake your claim Player Won! You’re always reaching out for more Player Won! ‘Cause all that matters is the score The beings that wander all around you Artificial life you think isn’t real Pressing onward toward the next reward Tossing them aside as if they cannot feel And now you’re finally at the end Your points your prize your only friend Was this a revealing breakthrough Or do you wonder what was true Did you win the game Or did the game just play you? Player Won! You think that life is just a game Player Won! And now you’ve come to stake your claim Player Won! You’re always reaching out for more Player Won! What else was your life good for?

You danced into the room in front of me Your red dress shimmered like a flame Your twisting body was all I could see This boy would never be the same I tried to keep myself together As you slowly pulled me apart You leaned in and you whispered in my ear I felt a shock run through my heart You seduced me on the dance floor (woah oh) I can never go back to the way things were before You seduced me on the dance floor (woah oh) I don’t wanna go back to the way things were before We wandered outside just to get some air Suggesting a flirtatious tryst You were playing a game that wasn’t fair And I was helpless to resist I tried to hold myself together As you pulled me into a bind Each enticement that you offered me Drove me out of my mind, you drove me out of my mind I wish you wouldn’t dance so close to me I wish you wouldn’t dance so close Don’t dance so Don’t dance so Don’t dance so close to me

The furtive glance was unexpected Your conversation threw me for a spin Paint a path depart tangential I tripped before we could begin Cruel moments on the phone Next to you but so alone Turn the raven in your hands I had to walk away Still thinking of the path not taken So caught up being intellectual Overthinking everything sexual Missed opportunities Will forever haunt me I made my bed And now I have to lie Now I have to lie in it Running through fields of rye A neon sign that flickered brightly Car crash on the horizon And still my hands grip the wheel tightly We hung each other out to dry Strips of flesh that catch the eye There’s nothing left here to repair You had your final say Still thinking of the path not taken
7.
Naked Beats 03:40
Words misspoken on purpose Thin chords and naked beats Voice expressive in staccato verse Maestro share your secrets with me Overly analytical I wish I could hear what’s in your head Inadequately musical I wish I could hear what’s in your head Getting this out follows a pattern Formulaic mediocrity Too heavy, thick like a fog Missing the forest for all the trees
8.
You Left a hole in my heart Yeah you tore me apart And I don’t know if I can put myself together You Took up space in my head And when we lay there in bed I know I wanted that to be forever Why’d you make me fall in love with you? Was anything we ever said really true? There’s a hole in my heart There’s a hole in my heart I’m broken in two And I know the only thing That will make me complete Is being back with you We Might not be a perfect fit But your charm and your wit Make me smile every single time I see you We Went and took a big chance And ever since that first dance Had to find out of this could really be true

Somewhere somehow along the line We were all infected With this idea what’s yours is mine We should have rejected This notion out of hand But it’s spread across the land And now there’s nowhere left to go Someplace inside us was consumed We became paranoid Believed our current path was doomed Trust and hope was destroyed Now we’re just hollow shells Perhaps it’s just as well We’ll always reap just what we sow How about we sit here for a while And just see what happens Why don’t we sit here for a while And let the cold wash over us How about we sit here for a while And just see what happens Why don’t we sit here for a while Sometime very long from now Perhaps we’ll be discovered The truth laid bare for what we were All of our lies uncovered We were nothing but a drop In an ocean that doesn’t stop One tiny act in the Great Show If a single cell is all it takes to survive Maybe some part of us could still be alive I’d like to hope that there’s some goodness left to live Holding out for some warm place Nothing I wouldn’t give I don’t wanna just sit here Sit here for a while I don’t wanna just sit here Sit here for a while I don’t wanna just sit here I can’t feel my body anymore I don’t wanna just sit here I’ve got to not just sit here
